Privacy policy

Last updated 4 September 2026.

Drum-Nome is a metronome app. It is built to work on your phone without an account. We do not sell personal data.

What stays on your device

Setlists, songs, preferences, custom stage-look photos, and in-app purchase entitlements are stored in the app sandbox on your phone (and, on some debug setups, in that same sandbox’s local backup). Deleting the app deletes this data. Updating the app over the same App Store / Play listing does not.

What we do not collect

Purchases

Optional unlocks (Gig, Places, later Stage Look packs) are sold by Apple and Google as in-app purchases. Payment details never pass through Drum-Nome servers. Restore Purchases uses the store account already signed in on the device.

Stage Look catalogue (when enabled)

If you open Stage Look, the app may download a small catalogue file from looks.drumnome.com at most once per 24 hours, and may download thumbnail or full-size artwork for packs you browse or own. Those requests hit Amazon CloudFront. They are not tied to a Drum-Nome account. Full-size artwork for a paid pack is only downloaded after that pack is owned.

Photos

If you grant photo-library permission, you can use your own pictures as player backgrounds. Images are resized and stored on the device. They are not uploaded to us.
